Service
Video game composer for narrative, strategy, and character-driven games.
I write original music for games. That includes themes, gameplay cues, and soundtrack work. I also plan the delivery so the team can actually use the files without extra cleanup.
What this service covers
This is for teams who need original music built around the game itself. Not stock tracks. The work can include music direction, themes, gameplay cues, menu/UI music, cutscene music, and soundtrack production.
The main goal is function in gameplay. The cues need to loop well, support pacing, and still feel good after a lot of repetition.
Typical deliverables
- Main theme and secondary motifs for characters, locations, or systems
- Gameplay cues for exploration, tension, combat, victory, and failure states
- Loop-ready exports with clean starts and endings
- Stems for implementation and dynamic mixing
- Reference mixes and final production masters
- File naming and delivery notes for integration
Process
Here's how it usually works. We start with a short brief and a few references. Then I write one or two test cues so we can confirm the direction before the full score starts.
This keeps revisions down later, and it keeps the score consistent as the project grows.
Related work
A good example is Bet the Farm. The score follows seasonal progress and uses an acoustic palette built for longer play sessions. Some of that material later became Emotional Seasons, a Unity music pack.
